How much does a funeral cost?

When arranging a funeral for your loved one, we will ensure you have peace of mind by discussing the many different options available to you and their costs. Being an Independent Funeral Director we enjoy more flexibility, which allows us to work with you to tailor the funeral, making it the perfect tribute for your loved one, within your budget.

If your loved one did not have a pre-paid funeral plan, funeral insurance or savings specifically for their funeral, you can contact their bank or building society to ask if they have funds available to cover the cost of the funeral. The bank or building society may release the funds to the Executor or Administrator of the Will or pay for the funeral services directly.

Is it possible to get financial support for funeral costs?

On the occasion where there are insufficient funds to pay for the funeral, there may be financial support available from the Department of Work and Pensions.
